MSCGB March ShowBy Gwyn Hague![]() Despite the cold wind there was a very warm and convivial atmosphere at the show held at Hasland Village Hall, Chesterfield in March. There was a good entry and it was lovely to see the return of some of the veterans and their owners who were there to support the breed and to get together again. Although there was also a strong entry of younger dogs and bitches, it was Silvermere Sensibility of Selladore [Grace] who took the day showing that there is "life in the older dogs yet"! ![]() After the judging, which was undertaken by Mr. Jeff Horswell and stewarded as brilliantly as ever by Billy Fulton, it was time to return to the hall and enjoy the hospitality and home cooking of the club. As usual the fare was excellent with a menu of hot food and amazing puddings. All ably served by the committee who we have to thank for not only serving but washing up!! ![]() The prize giving followed with engraved crystal trophies which were presented by the judge, who in turn was presented with a hamper of Italian goodies . One of the lasting memories of the show is the lovely gathering of maremmas from puppies to veterans. Let us hope that it is continued for many shows to come.
